Mick McClelland is a non-binary butch hailing from the South. They believe in documentary photography and self portraiture as necessary acts of witness, an archiving of the breadth and resilience of the human spirit through dynamic cycles of life and death. With a focus on everyday existence and joy in community, McClelland uses their lens to uplift the stories of queer and marginalized folks and to honor the continuous exploration of individual and collective identities.
